#5 Sarri announced as the new Juventus boss
After days of speculation, Maurizio Sarri has been finally announced as the new Juventus manager. The Italian had informed Chelsea that he wanted to return to his homeland so that he could be closer to his family. An offer from Juventus, as such, suited him the best. It is understood that a compensation fee of around £5m was agreed between the two parties for his departure.

Sarri had joined Chelsea just a year ago and had a fairly successful experience in England. He won the Europa League and helped Chelsea finish third in the Premier League table, helping them secure Champions League football next season. However, the loss at the hands of City in the Carabao Cup final was disappointing, and perhaps even more shocking was his goalkeeper Kepa’s open rebellion. Fans were not entirely convinced by his style of play and some of his decisions were questionable.
Now it remains to be seen if the Italian can hit the ground running with Juventus. The Serie A Champions will be hoping that Sarri can guide them to the UEFA Champions League trophy, a silverware that the Bianconeri are desperate for.
#4 Juventus prepare £30m bid for Trippier
The Sunday Times reports that Juventus are preparing a £30m bid for Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier, who they see as the perfect replacement for Joao Cancelo. We had earlier revealed that a right-back was a high priority in the list of reinforcements for Juventus this summer, because Joao Cancelo, their Portuguese right back, was on his way to Manchester City.
Trippier did not have the best of seasons with Spurs this year but was still a vital member of the team that reached the final of the UEFA Champions League final. He was Pochettino’s first choice right back throughout the season and was especially effective in the semifinals against Ajax. Juventus seem to have seen enough to believe that Trippier has the qualities to succeed at Turin.
It is believed that Napoli are also interested in the services of the Englishman, however, Juventus could be his more preferred option. Now that Sarri has been appointed as the new manager, one can expect things to speed up pretty fast.
#3 Juventus want to present Sarri with two huge signings
Juventus have welcomed Maurizio Sarri and now are reportedly preparing to give him two huge signings. The first player on their minds is Fiorentina’s fiery winger Federico Chiesa, who is one of the rising stars of European football and has attracted attention with his speed and technical abilities. He is actually likened to a young Gareth Bale, such is his prowess on the football pitch.
Fiorentina have declared their intentions to hold on to their prized asset, but according to Sky Sports Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio, the player has already agreed on personal terms with Juventus and will reportedly earn €5m per season. However, the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement, as negotiations are due. If Juventus do manage to get this deal through, it will definitely delight Sarri.

#2 Juventus on high alert after Pogba hints at departure
Juventus have been put on high alert after Paul Pogba issued a ‘come and get me’ plea to his suitors from Japan. Speaking to reporters in Tokyo, the Frenchman said that the time was ripe for a new challenge
This will come as a huge blow for Solskjaer, who had time and again reiterated his desire to build a team around Pogba but will be music to the ears of Juventus. However, the Serie A Champions will face stiff competition from Real Madrid who also want to bring the Frenchman to Bernabeu.
But Pogba will not come cheap, as we earlier revealed that United expect at least £150m for their star man. Now the question is, are Juventus willing to shell out such a huge amount this summer?
#1 Juventus still not giving up on Matthijs de Ligt
Matthijs de Ligt’s future is a big secret right now and it is anybody’s guess where the Dutchman would end up in the new season. He was first thought to be destined to sign for Barcelona, but since then, Manchester United, Juventus and Paris Saint Germain have all been in the news. PSG were reportedly the front runners for this signature, but it looks like the Serie A Champions are not giving up on de Ligt just yet.
Juventus still believe that the Dutchman can be persuaded to make a move to Turin. They understand that the task at hand is very tough, but not impossible. As such, Fabio Paratici and Pavel Nedved are in continued talks with Mino Raiola for any possibilities to see the deal through.
The super agent wants the right club, and the right salary for his client, who is still just 20 years old and will only get better. And it is believed that Nedved and Paratici are arguing that Juventus can be the right club for de Ligt to develop into the best in the world in the next few years.
