How To Play Wordle
Wordle is a browser-based word guessing game hosted by the New York Times Games. It pits players against a mystery five-letter word daily, and players have just six guesses to get to the answer. Each guess gives players more and more clues as to the real answer. If anyone is new to Wordle, here is a quick breakdown of the rules:

In order to play, word puzzle fans just need to head to the site. The original version of Wordle is only going to appear on the New York Times Games site; any other will be one of the many clones or copycats that sprung up during its peak popularity. Although it was purchased by the NYT, Wordle is still free-to-play so players don’t even need a log in to play.
Choose a starting five-letter English word to get started. Type it into the first row of the 5x6 grid on the site. Press enter. The letters of the chosen word will then change colors to give players some clues. Green letters are right, gray letters are incorrect, and yellow letters are correct but in the wrong position in the word. Using these hints, players have just five more guesses to get to the answer. Wordle puzzles reset every day at midnight local time.
