Jujutsu Kaisen is a story that follows the main character, Yuji Itadori, as he is forced to integrate into a school for Jujutsu sorcerers. His goal is to find and consume all the fingers of a powerful curse named Ryomen Sukuna in an attempt to destroy him. The story has introduced an array of talented sorcerers since its debut, and with them, the author has introduced some incredibly powerful ones.
10 Megumi
Megumi Fushiguro acts as one of the main characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. He made his manga debut in the very first chapter and also the very first episode of the 2020 anime. Along with his fellow classmates, he is a first-year Jujutsu sorcerer at Tokyo Jujutsu High.
Megumi is a grade 2 sorcerer and a descendant of the Zenin Clan– meaning he uses abilities inherited from them, such as the Prized 10 Shadow Technique. He is known to have massive potential.
9 Yuji
Yuji Itadori is the show’s main and most important character. He is one of the first characters fans are introduced to in the manga. Yuji is forced to integrate into Tokyo Jujutsu High as a first-year Jujutsu Sorcerer.
His life changes after he eats one of Sukuna’s fingers, thus becoming a vessel for his power. Yuji shows early on that he is a skilled fighter and manages to defeat grade 1 curses with his combined superhuman strength and curse abilities. With time, he’s only continued to grow stronger.
8 Aoi
Aoi Todo is a character that first appears during the Cursed Training arc in chapter 16 of the manga and episode 8 of the anime. He is a grade 1 Jujutsu Sorcerer and part of Kyoto Jujutsu High’s third-year class.
During Geto’s nightline attack in Kyoto, he singlehandedly defeated five Grade 1 and one Special Grade curse. He is a sorcerer with great strength that possesses tremendous brute force, coupled with good experience and mastery of his cursed powers.
7 Nanami
Kento Nanami is a character who made his debut in manga chapter 18 and anime episode 8. He is a graduate of Tokyo Jujutsu High and is ranked as a Grade 1 Jujutsu Sorcerer.

He is a powerful Jujutsu Sorcerer, being able to fight and hold back a Special Grade Curse, notably Mahito. He is a very precise fighter, using techniques like the ‘Ratio Technique,’ which allows him to divide his target into 10 pieces.
6 Maki Zenin
Maki Zenin is an important character who was introduced officially in chapter 10 of the manga and episode 5 of the anime. She is part of one of the three great sorcerer families, but was born a non-sorcerer. This caused people in the Zenin Clan to mistreat her.
While she has no cursed powers, she is still an extremely powerful woman, being able to wipe out the entirety of the Zenin Clan. She has great physical abilities and an excellent mastery of cursed weapons.
5 Toji Fushiguro
Toji Fushiguro, also known as Toji Zenin, is Megumi’s father and an assassin known as the Sorcerer Killer. He made his manga debut in chapter 66, during Gojo’s Past arc where he acted as the primary antagonist, meaning his anime debut should be in season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen.
He is a non-curse user, but is still able to contend with the most powerful sorcerers– one of them being a younger Satoru Gojo, who was still an elite fighter even back then, along with the powerful curse manipulator, Suguru Geto.
4 Suguru Geto
Suguru Geto is a powerful curse manipulator and former Jujutsu High student who acts as an antagonist in Jujutsu Kaisen. His first appearance is in chapter 10 of the manga and episode 5 of the anime.
He was part of the 4 Special Grades Sorcerers and is titled “The Worst Of All Curse Users.” His main abilities come from his wide collection of cursed spirits, but he is also a great physical fighter.
3 Takaba
Fumihiko Takaba is a character who debuted in chapter 146 of the manga. He is a failing comedian who was turned into a sorcerer to participate in the Culling Game by Kenjaku.
When resolved to entertain, his strength increases dramatically– reflecting his character as the entertainer he is. His ‘Comedian’ ability proved to be troublesome to someone as powerful as Satoru Gojo, and his hand-to-hand combat skills are very impressive as well.
2 Yuta
Yuta Okkotsu is the main character in the prequel to Jujutsu Kaisen, Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Jujutsu High, which was adapted into a movie by the title ‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie’ in late 2021. The movie has gone on to garner worldwide acclaim.
By Jujutsu High’s standards, Yuta is recognized as one of only 4 Special Grade Sorcerers. His standout characteristic is his immeasurable curse energy, which manifested thanks to the “Queen Of Curses.” He’s certainly among the very strongest fighters in the series.
1 Satoru Gojo
Satoru Gojo is undoubtedly the most powerful sorcerer to appear in the story of Jujutsu Kaisen. He is introduced as a central character in the story in the first chapter of the manga and the first anime episode.
Gojo is one of few Special Grade Sorcerers, and even among them, he is considered the very best. His most impressive technique is his ‘Limitless’ technique which he inherited from his family and this power allows him to have absolute control over space.
